Came across this book recently, and was amused to see that Philip Clissett had gained an entry. It doesn't reveal his status, either as a saint or a sinner.
Other than that, this is a simple, short account of the chairmaker, with no indication of where the information was obtained from.
It's a great shame that the illustration of a chair that accompanies the account is not actually one of Philip's designs. It is, in fact, a design by Ernest Gimson. Details, details!
